In 2024, the new government in Slovakia is pushing through a radical change to the law, which would put independent public media under its control. Amid an atmosphere of deep uncertainty and growing fears of censorship, a strike committee forms within the institution. The camera thus witnesses the journalists' resistance, as they are forced day by day to defend their profession in a Don Quixote-like effort to confront the arrogance of power with civil dialogue.
After the film screening, there will be a discussion with director Sára Prokopová in Slovak. The festival director, Eva Križková, will moderate. The discussion will be interpreted into Slovak Sign Language.
