Climate Storytelling
Climate Storytelling workshop
The first Slovak workshop on climate change in audiovisual media (climate storytelling) offers a unique day-long educational programme for students, screenwriters, and producers. Together with the audience, we will explore how to integrate climate challenges into audiovisual storytelling and promote a sustainable future. The one-day programme offers lectures, discussions, and a workshop with both native and foreign lecturers, creating a platform for exchanging knowledge, professional networking, and development of new and creative climate-aware projects.
Lucie Trémolières is a French screenwriter, consultant, and trainer in the field of green transition in the audiovisual sphere. She develops projects in various formats (film, TV, theatre, animation) with a particular focus on comedy and climate storytelling.
Andrea Culková is a Czech documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, and director who addresses the climate crisis in her films and educates others in how to approach this topic in audiovisual production. Her films exhibit strong visual and essayistic elements, focusing on current topics based on subjective experiences.
Both lecturers will share their unique experiences in the programme consisting of an interactive presentation and a workshop (in the morning) and a lecture with networking (in the afternoon). The afternoon lecture will be held in English and won’t be interpreted.
